INTRODUCTION:

Psoriasis is a chronic genetic non contagious skin disease that got its name form Greek word for itch. The lesions appear as well demarcated erytheromatous patches, which are covered with loosely asherent silvery scales, the silvery color of scales becoming more prominent when attempt or made to scrape them off. The lesion varies in shape and size and same lesion may coalesce to form large gyrate or geographical patterns. They may appear on any area of the body most often occurs on the extensors aspects of extremities particularly elbows, knees, scalp, sacral region of back, face, palms and sole of feet. This condition is called psoriatic is arthritis. Psoriasis is a disorder of the immune system. This system includes a type of white blood cells called a T-cell that normally helps protect the body against infection and disease. In psoriasis an abnormal and immune system causes activity by T-cells in the skin. These T-cells triggers the inflammation and excessive skin cell reproduction seen in patient of psoriasis. People with psoriasis may notice that there are times when their skin worsens, then improves. Conditions that may cause flare- ups includes changes in climate, infections, stress, and dry skin. Also, certain medicine, most notably beta-blockers, which are used to treat high blood pressure, and lithium or drugs used to treat depression, may trigger an outbreak or worsen the disease. MATERIAL AND METHODS

Patients: A total of 247 well diagnosed cases of psoriasis were registered for treatment at my clinic from jan2001 to 2003. Out of which a total of 207 cases were available for proper follow up of treatment and analysis to assess and exposure percent response by treatment with homoeopathic drugs.
. Repertorization: All chronic clinically non responding and long last long cases of psoriasis of along with the case with prolonged treatment in other system of medicine with no significant response were repertorised considering the totality of symptom keeping in view the constitution of patient giving much emphasis to mental, physical and general symptoms through computer by using Hompath Classic Version-8 Software.

MATHODOLOGY:

This procedure can be studied under three different headings:-
